Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Konig XG12 tire chains here on our 2020 Jeep Renegade. Now guys, these are gonna be a nice little way of giving yourself some chains to make sure you're not gonna have any issue getting through that snow and ice wherever you might be. Now right out of the gate, the Konig XG12 are an awesome little tire chain set. They're my favorite to throw on because they don't take too much time at all. We'll kinda break that down in the installation though. Take my word for it for now. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2017 Jeep Renegade- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2017 Jeep Renegade, we're going to test fitting the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW2016C.These chains are typically designed to work with those rare snow occasions or light snow occasions. Those will provide good traction with light snow and the ladder pattern design will help with effective starts and stops while you're driving as well.These are low profile and they work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, although that's not the case here. Also, these do meet Department of Transportation recommendations in all states and does come with a convenient bag to carry these so once you're finished using them, you can place them in there, put them in the back of your vehicle and they're ready for next time.Today we're working with tire size 2156516. We went ahead and laid the chain out in front of the tire like you see here to make sure there's no kinks in the line before we install it, and we do recommend that you wear a pair of gloves while you install this because this can be a little bit testing on the hands.So we take our chains and drape them over our tire like so. Try to do so evenly.Then we'll go to the inside of the tire and make our first connection.We'll take our open end here, put through as many connection points as we can through. And then we'll go to the outside and finish making our connections.We'll finish making our connections upfront here. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2016 Jeep Renegade- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Jeep Renegade, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Glacier cable snow tire chains, part number PW2016C. Keep in mind that we're using this with tire size 2156516. These cable style tire chains are going to be perfect for occasional use on light snow and ice. The Glacier chains are going to be made out of a case hard and low carbon steel. So they're strong and durable and they're going to be a low profile design, giving us an overall smooth ride as well as having a ladder pattern to assist with effective starts and stops. These chains meet the Department of Transportation requirements in all 50 states, come with a reusable tote, and come in a quantity of two. more
